Designed for the project and exhibition Time:Frame that linked London based designers with local furniture makers, Picture Frame Box augments a traditional picture frame with a compartment for storing photographs and other documents.
The piece comes in sizes relating to computer print-outs rather than photographic prints (A4 and A3, portrait and landscape) to encourage the printing and display of digital photographs.
The handle moulding was borrowed from old rulers or t-squares. The frame is made in beechwood, the profile being cut using a spindle moulder.
